PATRICK CASLER, 65, OLD BRIDGE, NJ

Patrick J. Casler, 65, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Old Bridge died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston.

Born in Hoboken, he lived in Old Bridge for 14 years before moving to Houston, 16 years ago. Mr. Casler was a manager for Maxwell House Coffee in Hoboken and Houston for more than 35 years, before retiring in 1996. He was a Vietnam veteran of the Marines and was a member of Old Bridge Knights of Columbus. He was also a former communicant of St. Ambrose R.C. Church in Old Bridge.

Mr. Casler was predeceased by his wife, Eileen M. Casler in 1990; his grandson, Devlin P. Casler in 2006, and his brother, Edward Casler.

He is survived by two sons, Scott P. Casler and his wife, Melanie and Todd M. Casler of Houston, Texas; his grandson, Eric Berry of Houston and his sister, Mary Steinwehr of Toms River.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Route 9, Old Bridge, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Ambrose R.C. Church in Old Bridge. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum in South Brunswick. Visitation will be from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Sunday.
