I was Born San Francisco 9/18/42. Moved to Chula Vista, California when 10. Moved to New Orleans at age 11.

"Evicted" from High School at age 17. Had seen the D.I. (With Jack Webb, 1957) movie earlier, and joined up. Boot Camp MCRD San Diego.

Poncho Campos was in Platoon 133, with me. Then ITR, Camp Pendleton. After ITR it was off to Imperial Beach californiafor Radio School. Poncho also in basic class with me. After graduation, assigned to Sidi Yahia, Morocco., where I was assigned to Direction Finding.

After 1 year sent to 1stCompRadCo, Kaneohe, Hawaii.

Served Pleiku 9/62-1/63. Discharged 5/64.

Married to Anita. Three children from 1st marriage, two with Anita. 6 Grandkids, 1 Great grandkid.

Retired from New Orleans Police Dept. 30 years.

Now working Winn Dixie Supermarket.
